WELCOME TO THE SWEETY CLUB
“All grown-ups were once children… but only a few of them remember it.”
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
The Sweety Club invites you to embrace that quiet in-between, where the wistful charm of nostalgia meets the melancholia of the present. It’s a gentle ode to slowing down and reminiscing the small, peculiar joys that once shaped us.
At the heart of the collection is the naïve femme fatale—a character who embraces innocent curiosity and is unapologetically immersed in a world entirely her own.

At the heart of the collection is the naïve femme fatale—a character who embraces innocent curiosity and is unapologetically immersed in a world entirely her own.
Drawing inspiration from the mod silhouettes of 1960s and 70s girl scout uniforms and the kitschy mood of Henri Matisse and Hans Christian Andersen’s paper cutouts, these garments are the devices of reminiscence.
The Sweety Club is a sartorial love letter to the child within—a way to graduate from our whims with grace, wonder, and even a touch of mischief towards the people we hope to become.

III. "CLUB PLAY-TIME UNIFORM"
This is our play-time uniform. The picnics we'll go on, and perhaps run in the field, we hope that the breeze will give the slight shiver of wonder to our elongated bows, to contrast with the skirt:
Voluminous enough for your whims.
Voluminous enough for your whims.
IV. "THE DREAMER'S UNIFORM
The "Dreamer's" uniform is perfect for your still-pondering moments. The heavy cotton-velvet gives you the room to breathe, so dream of whatever you please, to wherever you want.

“But the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart.”
Says the Little Prince. I now invite wearers to believe in things beyond what one can see with their eyes, and lead with their heart.
We must learn not to leave ourselves behind.
Bio
Why must we leave ourselves behind?
This question continues to be at the heart of Kailey Kim's design philosophy as a New York–based womenswear designer, where her dreams extend beyond conventional aspirations. She seeks to explore and romanticize life, using fashion to challenge the notion of nostalgia—not to be reminisced, but to be reimagined.
She creates collections centered around a character who embraces innocent curiosity and lives unapologetically in their own world—a “naïve femme fatale.” Through experience in fashion PR and RTW design, she developed the narrative and technical skills to convey this character as someone you can wear.
