The human body functions as an energy conduit, continuously interacting with its surroundings through an exchange of positive and negative energies, a concept explored across scientific and spiritual disciplines. Acting as an inductor, the human body bridges the Earth and the universe, facilitating energy flow that sustains well-being. My thesis collection seeks to visualize this energy field and its impact on personal well-being, illustrating the interconnection of individuals with their environment.
By integrating physical science and metaphysics elements, I aim to create an interactive, therapeutic collection that embodies the resonance between humanity, nature, and the cosmos. Through innovative fabrications, dynamic garment movements, and sensor-activated lights, my designs will evoke visual illusions that enhance the perception of auras and vibrational energy fields. This fusion of science, spirituality, and artistry aspires to deepen the understanding and appreciation of the unseen forces that shape our existence.

Hi, I'm Tina Yuan,

I view garments as the dynamism of expression mediums that evoke emotion, invite interaction, and transform the wearer's experience.

            My design approach is rooted in curiosity and optimism, allowing me to explore the tension between structured precision and organic fluidity. With a strong affinity for pastel tones, intricate textures, and delicate details, I draw inspiration from nature and the overlooked beauty of everyday life, reinterpreting familiar elements through a new lens. I consider each garment a living entity that adapts, transforms, and engages with its environment. Versatility is central to my practice, as l strive to create designs that offer multiple ways of wearing and interacting.

            Besides, I see fashion as a therapeutic force, a catalyst for positivity, self-expression, and a renewed sense of confidence.
