This collection explores the concept of circulation in fashion, inspired by a personal memory—seeing someone wearing a tie-dye t-shirt.
That brief moment triggered a connection to a past trend and enabled me to think about how fashion continuously repeats itself. To investigate this theme, I researched the 'Grunge' aesthetic popularized by the rock band Nirvana—their style—marked by tie-dye, stripes, tartan, and a distinctly handmade look.

Although I took references from designers who also traced the past, my final idea was not to emulate their fabric and design. My anecdotal experiences implemented through While I was drawn to designers who revisit past eras, especially the 1990s, I crafted fabrics that express my story, such as felting, beading, digital printing, crochet, piping, and especially embroidery. These elements reflect an emotionally resonant memory. It is personal, But it engages the audience.
