Xiaonan Zhang

Xiaonan Zhang(Nancy) is a Chinese-born designer currently based in New York, pursuing her BFA in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design.

She is a fashion designer whose work explores the emotional dimensions of textiles, transforming memories of nature and family into tactile, wearable narratives. Drawing inspiration from trees as symbols of resilience and comfort, she uses repeated structures, layered forms, and handmade materials to express the feeling of being held and protected.

She believes that fabric is more than a material—it is a vessel of emotion. Through her work, she aims to evoke warmth, softness, and strength in a quiet but powerful visual language.
