Yolanda Yingying Tao

Yolanda Yingying Tao was born in Shanghai, China. She began her artistic journey with Chinese ink painting in childhood, later expanding her skills to include sculpture, oil painting, and charcoal drawing. Her passion for fashion was ignited after relocating to Texas, where she became captivated by avant-garde design, deconstruction, and tailoring.

Yolanda views fashion as a tangible reflection of human existence—a means of expressing one’s identity to the world. As a designer, her mission is to create work that evokes deep emotional responses and challenges conventional thinking. She is dedicated to producing designs that balance practicality and conceptual depth, using her creations to forge meaningful connections with others.
