Zhimeng Liu

Zhimeng Liu is a New York-based fashion designer and blacksmith whose work bridges fashion, costume, and wearable sculpture. Her practice often combines hard and soft elements— handcrafted metalwork, industrial processes, and handcrafted textiles—to create emotionally charged, structurally expressive garments.

Her design philosophy revolves around the body as both storyteller and stage. Whether working on conceptual runway collections or narrative-driven costume designs, Zhimeng is drawn to garments that hold memory, movement, and transformation.
