RE:PLAY is a sculptural accessories collection that reclaims discarded sports jerseys as vessels of memory, identity, and transformation. Inspired by a childhood dream of becoming the protagonist and shaped by the discipline of youth athletics, I created a fictional persona—Alison—as both alter ego and emotional archive. Through them, I revisit key moments of growth, turning athletic relics into sculptural forms that speak of vulnerability, resilience, and self-invention. Each piece is an episode in their story, where material becomes memory and design becomes narrative. Techniques such as deconstruction, collage, and visible mending allow emotion to surface through form, while the physical reconstruction of jerseys parallels a psychological one.
RE:PLAY is more than a collection—it is a way of writing the self through what’s worn, carried, and reimagined.
