Carol Guo

Jiayu Guo is graduating in 2025 from the Fashion Product pathway. During her time at university, she made use of on-campus and off-campus resources, to explore various career possibilities within the fashion industry and ultimately discovered that fashion photography is the field that suits her best. After graduation, she plans to open her own photography studio in Beijing, hoping to further explore the diverse possibilities of fashion.

Tao of Carry is a collection that draws inspiration from the sacred elegance of Taoist ceremonial robes. Rooted in traditional Chinese culture, the design reimagines spiritual attire as contemporary wearable art through the form of bags.

Structured, rectangular silhouettes echo the geometric precision of ritual garments, while vibrant colors channel their symbolic richness. Traditional Chinese patterns embellish the straps through laser cutting technique, honoring classical aesthetics and craftsmanship.
