This project is my response to moments of external chaos—those uncontrollable, unpredictable disruptions that often derail our expectations. I see such moments not just as interruptions, but as reflections of life’s inherent disorder and as openings to unexpected new directions.
I chose to stop resisting and instead let unpredictability guide me toward where I truly needed to go.Drawing inspiration from electronic music and futurism—both of which embrace shifting rhythms and evolving structures.
Bio
Yulin Yang is a multidisciplinary designer studying Fashion Design at Parsons and contemporary music at Eugene Lang College. His work blends digital fashion and multimedia storytelling, exploring the tension between structure and unpredictability. Influenced by electronic music and futurism, his thesis uses digital print, 3D modeling, and virtual garment construction to embrace uncertainty as a creative force.
