Bio

Sydney Levy is a graduate from Parsons School of Design with her BFA in Fashion Design. Her work emphasizes themes of environmental sustainability, collaboration, and community. Growing up in Michigan surrounded by nature, Sydney developed a love for the environment at a young age. This fuels her passion to work with others to create art that makes a difference. Her thesis, D.I.R.T- designed innovative regenerative textiles, explores the influence of modern fashion trends on how we consume clothing. By centralizing innovative materials and intentional design instead of trends, Sydney demonstrates how we can use a idealized system to shift the fast fashion paradigm.
